Seven Sisters - 90 Day Update

In the military, we are taught to include a Bottom-Line Up Front (BLUF) at the top of emails to Admirals, Generals and high-ranking officials due to their busy schedules and limited time to go through correspondence. Similarly, we know you value your time and therefore we will provide you with the BLUF in our company updates. Feel free to read the rest of the email if you have time! 

BLUF: Ellie, the rolling tote will have a pink variant in September. We’re considering adding a 3rd color by Christmas. Sammie Snug, the weighted waterproof blanket, will ship this week. Chlo, the All-in-One Backpack and Cooler, is available for pre-order with delivery expected in the fall (Date TBD). The Black Leopard Silicone Tote is running low on inventory and shipping costs are high, which may prevent us from selling in the future. We have met some marketing goals but we're still working towards making a profit. The girls are enjoying their summer and we're excited for softball (Nationals) tournament in Tennessee in two weeks. Nick is considering retiring from the Navy in September (2025), but the business would need to be further along by then.

Ellie, the rolling tote – We placed our next round of inventory, and it should be delivered early September. We added a pink variant and are super excited about it! We are looking to add a 3^rd color by Christmas. Let us know on social media your ideas.

Sammie Snug, the weighted waterproof blanket – Ships this week and expect to have by the original 10 August Date. We will stop selling at 59.99 on August 1^st.

Chlo, All-in-One Backpack and Cooler – We got the manufacturer cost down a little, still more than expected, we are still trying to figure out the normal price but that will depend on average shipping cost. For now, pre-orders will stay at $59.99. Delivery is expected in the fall.

Black Leopard Silicone Tote: We’re running low on inventory and we’re not sure if we should place another order. Shipping the bag is surprisingly expensive. Averages $20 per bag. With advertising cost, etc. We’re not sure the juice is worth the squeeze.

  • Instagram (91) – Yeah, this one is not good at all.
• Have over 200 email subscribers. (Completed – we have close to 300)
• Maintain 4.8 or better review rating. (Completed – Holding at 5.0). Thank you everyone that left a review.
• Sale over a hundred Rolling Tote bags (Completed)
• Start making profit (Not Completed - We’re not there yet but the margins are closing)
  • Sales – (Adverting + Manufacturing + shipping + Business Tools) = Profit.

Family Update: The girls are doing well, enjoying their summer with lots of swimming and outdoor fun. We have one more week before heading to Tennessee for Chloe & Nick’s (Nick coaches) Softball Nationals. We can’t wait to see the beauty of the Smoky Mountains! Nick is still contemplating retirement, possibly September 1st, 2025, but he's feeling nervous about it. He’s been thinking maybe September 1^st, 2026, but he’s been back and forth. Serving his country has been his life, but if our business starts to grow, he may be able to do it full-time. Fingers crossed! If not, he’ll have to stay another year or find a civilian job in the meantime.
